Jesse Makes Things

With code, mostly.

Occasionally I make things that aren't code

This was the final project for an art course I took in 2015. It's an homage to old-school computer graphics research; some papers would be accompanied by relevant videos. Advancements in 3D Imagery is a video for a hypothetical literature review of computer graphics techniques available in the mid-1970's. The music is my own.

A Video Recorded Hand

A Video Recorded Hand is more of a parody than a straight-faced homage like Advancements in 3D Imagery is. It represents the impact massive advances in video technology in the past four and a half decades have made on our ability to produce content (i.e. "lol hands"). I made this in about four hours, which reflects this piece's very meaning!

This is art. Why? Because I said so. Wanna fight about it?

I'm not sure where I was going with this, honestly.

The Sounds of Absurdity

I made this back in high school for a graphic design course. The assignment was to make an album cover of some kind. The thing doesn't take itself too seriously. Unfortunately, the front cover has been lost to time.
